Africa Bible Project
The Africa Bible Project has an urgent purpose:
- supply Bibles to 1,000,000 African Christians hungry for the Word of God,
- who are rural, young or refugees
- but cannot afford a Bible nor afford to be without one.

BIBLES, BIBLES, BIBLES!
2019 BIBLE PROJECT - UGANDA BIBLE DISTRIBUTION
This IS URGENT!
The need is urgent. Bibles enable believers to mature in the Word and to improve the likelihood that they share their faith with others. Youth and women are often overlooked but are critical to the spread of the Gospel. Refugee pastors need training and assistance in delivering Bibles to their congregation. Recipients need to understand better that the Bible is the voice of God and that the project’s purpose is to grow the Kingdom.
Each Bible is given to a person who will commit to being taught and provide us with their local pastors their name and their cell phone number for follow-up.
HOW DO WE HOLD DOWN COST FOR A QUALITY BIBLE?
Printing and shipping 10,000 at a time significantly reduces the cost of a Bible by maximizing each penny of every dollar - set-up costs, printing costs, shipping costs, and distribution costs.
These are durable quality Bibles that will last a minimum of 5 to 7 years in a hut without electricity. While the cost of the Bible is important, it does not compare to the importance to the growth of the Ugandan church. These Bibles cost as little as $6 per Bible, in various local languages, for the end users.

2019 - Early 2020 Report
- In 2019 and early 2020, the Africa Bible Project will distribute 20,000 Bibles to the poor, the refugee and youth. Each Bible is given to someone who is thirsty for God's Word but cannot afford to buy a Bible. Our partners in Uganda, South Sudan and Kenya connect each recipient with someone who will walk along side them as they learn. The purpose of these Bibles is to further the maturity of these believers and to advance the Kingdom.
- Ugandan Bible Project leaders will host region-wide training for pastors and high school students, and follow-up with celebration/distribution for those groups willing to meet the requirements of the Uganda Bible Project.
- In the spring of 2020, another 10,000 children's Bibles will be available to be distributed.
