July 8, 2020 - If you cannot read this...

You are like 24% of Ugandans who need the spoken word because they cannot read.

IF YOUR PASTOR CANNOT READ THIS...
You will attend a church led by a pastor who is semi-illiterate or illiterate. Your pastor has difficulty interpreting the Bible.

Coming back from Uganda this past weekend after some weeks of training rural pastors and church leaders, I met Henry and Julie Hutton at the airport. We enjoyed some hours together. They are a wonderful couple, so committed to building God's Kingdom!

As a Senior Staff Member of Global Training Network, I have been teaching a 4-week (100 hours) training curriculum (one week a quarter for a year) to hundreds of Ugandan pastors since 2017. As part of that 100-hour curriculum, I spend 8 hours teaching "God's Big Picture" as an OT & NT survey type of course. All of the training is through interpreters in Luo, Acholi, Luganda, Swahili, Arabic and other languages.

I would love to be a conduit to pass out these Study Bibles (both printed and oral) to the pastors and church leaders I'm training. What must I do to make that happen?

Miles, we only provide study Bibles through regional training. We work by region by language to provide Bibles to those who cannot afford a Bible. Only those invited by a pastor association can attend. In conjunction with being in an area doing our training,

We also offer church leader training on Dr. Getz' Life Essential Study Bible. This training is required to receive a Bible. the Study Bible training is primarily to explain how the Study Bible can be a useful tool to the untrained pastor.
